Annual four day charity cycle which sees amateur cyclists cycling over 600km around the six counties of Munster, benefiting Down Syndrome Ireland Munster Branches
August 8th – 11th, 2013
The Tour de Munster, an annual four day charity cycle which sees amateur cyclists cycling over 600km around the six counties of Munster, has again announced Down Syndrome Ireland (Munster branches) as the chosen beneficiary of this year’s cycle. This is the third year that Down Syndrome Ireland has been lucky enough to be selected.
On Thursday August 9th a team of ‘leisure’ cyclists will commence a demanding four-day 600km charity cycle which will take them through all the counties of Munster.
Participants in the 2013 Tour de Munster will each collect individual sponsorship and the tour will be accompanied by volunteers who hope to leverage the event with collections in the cities, towns and villages along the route.
Everyone participating in the event covers their own costs and all funds raised go directly to Down Syndrome Ireland Munster Branches. For more information, please visit the Tour de Munster website.
