Down Syndrome Ireland states that no funds donated to the organisation have ever been used to top up salaries of DSI staff. This year so far, DSI has raised and duly allocated, €1.2 million to fund our incredible projects, and we continue to strive to make a difference in the lives of people with Down syndrome.
Down Syndrome Ireland was so delighted to be selected as the beneficiaries for the final of the Celebrity Apprentice 2013 as seen on Tv3.
Down Syndrome Ireland’s innovative Latch-On, Adult Literacy Project was chosen to feature on the final show.
The teaching sites in Naas Co. Kildare received an amazing makeover thanks to the generous support of DoneDeal.ie and the tireless work of the celebrity apprentices.
Down Syndrome Ireland would like to sincerely thank Agnes and the team at donedeal.ie for sponsoring the task. We would also like to thank Edele Lynch, Amanda Brunker, Daniella Moyes, Mickey Graham, Maclean Burke , Frances Black, Nick Leeson and Emma Quinlan for the long hours, hard-work and commitment to the task.
