A Wonderful Time At The First DSI Jingle and Mingle

Our thanks to all of the guests that helped make the first-ever, Jingle and Mingle Christmas Party event so very special. The bespoke Christmas lunch was hosted by the fantastic Today FM’s Matt Cooper, who entertained us with engaging interviews.

We’d like to thank our amazing special guest interviewees: Irish singer, songwriter, and actress Maria Doyle Kennedy for her perspective as a parent of a young adult with Down syndrome on employment. Former Premier League and World Cup soccer forward Niall Quinn, Dublin GAA 4 time All Ireland footballer Paul Mannion and Dublin GAA Manager Jim Gavin for coming along and giving some insightful views on Irish sport.

Giving us an insight into their working lives, where the wonderful Niamh Flannery, Eoin McHugh, and Ross O’Neill – Thank you to each of these amazing young adults for speaking about why inclusion in the workplace is so important to them.

Bringing the festive cheer with their outstanding vocal talents was the wonderful Simon Morgan, the Castleknock Tennis Choir and the Trinity Belles. Thank you to each of our musical acts for creating such warm and lasting memories.

Finally, we’d like to give our thanks to Fran Tobin and Hayley McGrath from House Dublin for allowing us to host our event in there beautiful historic Leeson Street building in the heart of Dublin. And a final thank you to all our brilliant the volunteers that helped make the day run so very well.
