Charity of the year: Ireland West Airport

Thank you so much to the staff and management at Ireland West Airport for choosing Down Syndrome Ireland as one of their charity partners for 2018. The airport team are organising a number of events throughout the year to raise as much money as possible, with the headline event being the annual charity 5k runway fun run, which took place in May 2018.

All money raised for Down Syndrome Ireland will go towards the development of a new Regional Centre in Swinford, Co Mayo. Our specialist teams in Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo and Leitrim will run all their services, conferences, meetings and training from this Regional Centre, so it will be a huge help to people with Down syndrome and their families in the West and Northwest regions of Ireland.
