Dear members,
In the interest of public health and to help protect our members with Down syndrome, their families, our staff and volunteers from the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus, we have made the decision to suspend all DSI group activities until March 29th.
This includes branch activity such as adult education classes, early intervention groups, mother and toddler groups, discos and clubs.
We will also be suspending home teacher sessions.
For the moment, we are advising branches that they may continue with individual therapy sessions for members, provided all steps are taken to minimise risks. Please refer to the previous email from DSI advising on hygiene guidelines.
We are in an unprecedented situation and will keep members updated on any changes necessary.
Please do continue to refer to the DSI Facebook page and website as they will be updated regularly – We aim to continue to support our members in this challenging time and thank you in advance for your patience.
