Football Association of Ireland – Talent Days

A unique opportunity has arisen for our Irish male and female football players with Down syndrome, the Trisome Games 2020 are being held in Turkey from 31 March to 7 April – hosting teams with Down syndrome from over 50 countries in 8 sports.

Down Syndrome Ireland in association with the Football Association of  Ireland and Tsenya – Creating awareness for athletes with Down syndrome are considering entering a Futsal team to represent Ireland at this prestigious event.

 
There are a number of training dates on offer:
 
  • Thursday the 10th October | 7 – 8.30pm – Villa FC, Waterford (X91 NXN5)
  • Thursday the 17th October | 7 – 8.30pm – Blarney Utd, Cork (T23 VK25)
  • Thursday the 24th October | 7 – 8.30pm – Knocknacarra Utd, Galway (H91 R6PW)
  • Thursday the 7th November | 7 – 8.30pm – Malahide Utd, Dublin (K36 YA97)
 
If you play football regularly and are 16 or over you are invited to attend one of our 4 open talent days listed above.
