Minister of State for Special Education and Inclusion meets with Department of Education officials

The Minister of State for Special Education and Inclusion, Josepha Madigan, met recently with Department of Education officials from the Special Education section, the Building and Planning Unit and the Chief Executive Officer of the National Council for Special Education (NCSE) to discuss measures to further increase the number of special school and special class places for children with special educational needs.

Down Syndrome Ireland welcomes the commitment given by Minister Madigan to increase the number of places in schools for children who have special educational needs and look forward to further developments in this area.
