Need for support

Down Syndrome Ireland is the voice of people with Down syndrome and their families throughout Ireland. We provide a wide range of vital services and supports including: Early Intervention, Speech & Language Therapy, Health, Education, Personal Development and Employment Opportunities that enhance the lives of thousands of children and adults with Down syndrome – like Christopher and Conor pictured below.

Every year we need to raise up to 85% of our €3.5 million costs to enable us to continue providing these essential services. With only approximately 15% State funding, we are very heavily reliant on public fundraising and the generosity of people like you! *

There are many ways you, your family, your workplace or your school/college can help. By making a once-off or monthly donation, participating in one of our events, organising an event of your own or taking on a challenge/marathon. By doing so you will help raise much needed funds that will enable us to provide essential services for people like Christopher and Conor with Down syndrome, and their families.

If you would like to discuss any aspect of fundraising please contact a member of our Fundraising Team on 01 426 6500 or e-mail info@downsyndrome.ie

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANY SUPPORT YOU CAN GIVE!
