Ability programme Online course to students aged between 16 and 18

We are extending the Ability programme Online course to students aged between 16 and 18 who are in secondary school.

Students will study in small groups and the course will be delivered via Zoom by a teacher.

Classes will run twice a week for ten weeks. Students will meet for one hour on Monday and Friday mornings. During the week, the students will complete tasks based on the module.

The course is designed to be delivered in school as the student may need support to complete the online tasks. While the schools are closed, a parent or guardian may be needed to support the student to access the classes and to complete the tasks.

We only have places for a small number of students, so you need to apply quickly – If you are interested, please email lisamartin@downsyndrome.ie or aoife@downsyndrome.ie

Please include your:
  • Name
  • Age
  • Branch name
  • School’s name

The closing date is Friday, January 27th, 2021.
This course will begin in February and is part-funded by Pobal, so it is free for Down Syndrome Ireland members.
