Field Safety Notice issued by Philips Respironics

We were recently informed of a Field Safety Notice issued by Philips regarding some of the ventilators and sleep apnoea devices they manufacture. The HSE is working with the Health Products Regulatory Authority,  hospital and community services to further assess this issue and the potential impact on these device users in Ireland.

Based on the current information supplied by Philips, the HSE recommends that all patients and device users continue to use their device as prescribed until a replacement device is supplied, or the device repaired.

For further information or support from Philips, please contact 1800 851 241 or read more about the update on their website.
