We’d like to congratulation the teams from Fidelity Investments who took part in our #DSIShopWars on the 25th of June.
Two amazing teams battled it out to see who could raise the biggest amount over a full day in our charity shops. Both teams made a huge effort to entice customers and passers-by with colourful decorations, fancy dress and friendly customer service.
Working in our GPO Arcade shop where the ‘Super FUNdraising Team’ and taking over our Clondalkin shop where the ‘Da Super Incredibles’. It was a very close battle between these fantastic teams with the overall winner for the day being the ‘Super FUNdraising Team’ managed by Deborah McCallion – They raised €1,862.50, with the ‘Da Super Incredibles’ close behind with €1,816.45.
To thank the winning team we presented them with an Award to commemorate there super effort in supporting Down Syndrome Ireland.
Both teams were amazing to work with they brought such enthusiasm, efficiencies and innovation to the event – To date, Fidelity has raised a total of €11,000 through other online fundraising initiatives. Our thanks to Director Padraig Murray for contacting us and for his invaluable drive to support our efforts.
