  • Down Syndrome Ireland speech and language therapy special interest group

The Down Syndrome Ireland Speech and Language Therapy Special Interest Group (DSI SIG) was founded by Down Syndrome Ireland in 2009.

The primary purpose of the DSI SIG is to promote evidence-based practice through the provision of specialist training and education for speech and language therapists (SLTs) working with people with Down syndrome. The DSI SIG also provides a structured forum for SLTs to share and develop expertise and research findings.

The DSI SIG is one of the many ways the national organisation for people with Down syndrome and their families provides services and resources to the professional community.

There is no membership fee required to join the DSI SIG.

If you would like to be added to the list of Speech and Language Therapists with a special interest in Down syndrome (DSI SIG), please send your full name and contact details to Nicola at nicola@downsyndrome.ie
