Deirdre McGlynn
Deirdre McGlynn is on the Early Years Specialist team. Deirdre has worked with children who have Down syndrome and their families for over a decade in a specialised preschool, mainstream preschools and in their family home. Working as a children’s nurse, Deirdre could see the potential in each child for growth and development and how they would blossom when the right supports were put in place. She believes passionately that the interventions in Early Years can have an impact that lasts a lifetime, the family is central to all learning and Play is the cornerstone to all of the child’s development.
