Eimear Collins has recently joined the Member Support Team as our Early Intervention Officer.
Eimear works with families to support them and their children throughout the early years, up to and including the transition to primary school. She is available to provide advice and support to parents and early years services in relation to early development, early intervention services and early childhood care and education. She is also involved in the development and delivery of conferences, workshops and training at regional and national level.

Early Intervention Officer

Eimear Collins has recently joined the Member Support Team as our Early Intervention Officer.
Eimear works with families to support them and their children throughout the early years, up to and including the transition to primary school. She is available to provide advice and support to parents and early years services in relation to early development, early intervention services and early childhood care and education. She is also involved in the development and delivery of conferences, workshops and training at regional and national level.
Eimear’s background is in the field of early childhood care and education. She has worked with young children and families in a variety of settings, such as crèches, pre-schools and hospital settings. Since 2008, she has worked with City and County Childcare Committees (CCC’s), where she supported early childhood care and education settings to develop and enhance the quality of services for all children and their families. Eimear holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Care and Education from Mary Immaculate College Limerick, and is currently completing a Masters in Early Intervention at Trinity College Dublin.
