Elizabeth works as an Adult Education Officer at Down Syndrome Ireland. Elizabeth supports our members with lifelong learning and connects with members, families and branches nationwide to assist in navigating the educational journey. With over 15 years working in varied educational roles, and completing a masters in Art Psychotherapy, Elizabeth’s focus has always been on supporting those with additional needs. She is passionate about empowering people with Down syndrome to achieve their full potential. As well as our ongoing initiatives in adult education (including the TORCH programme, LOADS programme and Cúpla Focal), Elizabeth is also the point of contact for our adult members le Gaeilge, and would love to hear from you!
