Mary Doherty is a mother of three, Megan (11), Aaron (9) and Caitlin (7). Mary became involved with Down Syndrome Ireland in 2013 when Aaron was due to start school. She was central to the resource allocation for all children with Down syndrome campaign in 2013 along with a number of parents around the country working with DSI. Voted as President by our membership in June 2013, Mary is now enjoying her fifth year as President.
