Photography exhibition aimed at challenging perceptions of Down syndrome in society
The ‘Who Am I?’ photography project was created by members of our National Advisory Council with help from Down Syndrome Ireland.
The photographs were launched for World Down Syndrome Day 2018.
They were shown in the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre in Dublin for one month.
World Down Syndrome Day takes place on March 21.
It celebrates all people with Down syndrome.
The images offer a look into the lives of the Council members.
They aim to challenge perceptions of Down syndrome in society.
The exhibition is now travelling to our branches around the country to be shown in their local areas.
