Down Syndrome Ireland are proud to announce the launch of their 3 year partnership with Zurich Ireland which was celebrated in Zurich’s new offices in Blackrock on the 4th of October.

Barry Sheridan, the CEO of Down Syndrome Ireland said: “At Down Syndrome Ireland we provide ‘all-through-life’ supports to people with Down syndrome and their families, with specialists in the areas of health, speech and language, early development, education and adult education. With so many vital services to continue to deliver, we are delighted to be chosen by Zurich Ireland and their staff as their official charity partner for the next 3 years and we look forward to everything we will achieve together for our members nationwide.”

This partnership will involve fundraising and awareness campaigns in support of our members, as well as charity events held by Zurich’s employees across their offices in the IFSC, Blackrock and Wexford.

Anthony Brennan, the CEO of Zurich Ireland said: “We’re delighted to have Down Syndrome Ireland as our new charity partner. Zurich prides itself on its commitment to making a difference in the local communities in which we operate, and this new partnership allows us to extend our support to an organisation that has a deep well of support across our employee base in Ireland. We’re excited to start supporting DSI in ways that will directly help the families, children and adults who are part of the DSI family.”

The partnership launch also coincides with Down Syndrome Awareness Month, which is celebrated in October and helps to raise awareness and support for Down Syndrome Ireland’s cause.
