With 58 families registered from county Carlow, the Carlow branch of Down Syndrome Ireland works to improve the lives of, and act as a support to, families of those with Down syndrome. We are run on a voluntary basis by our members and offer a range of activities, outings, services and supports in Carlow. We are funded through donations and local fundraisers throughout the year. Our branch is an excellent source of local information, advice and support as well as sharing similar experiences with each other.
Ongoing Activities & Programmes
We hold a number of activities throughout the year, we are a new committee and are trying to grow our little branch. We have parties, workshops, drama and equine classes, as well as a book club and Futsal available to older members.
