Ice Cream Fundays takes place every June, with the iconic fundraiser inviting people to host ice cream parties in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland. This campaign is over 20 years old and is a firm favourite of our members and communities around Ireland.

This year, we are asking you to host your Ice Cream Fundays party from June 15th – 21st, with donations supporting our Early Years services.

Early stages are a crucial time for children’s development. During this stage, children begin building essential skills in movement, communication, learning, play, social interaction, and independence.

Children with Down syndrome may take longer to reach certain milestones, and early intervention plays a key role in supporting their growth and helping them succeed.

At Down Syndrome Ireland, we provide a network of early intervention supports for families of children from birth to seven years of age, including Speech and Language Therapy, baby and parent groups, Lámh support, and more.
