Ballyboy Fly-In raises €16k for DSI!

The Ballyboy Fly-in and Family Fun Day took place in excellent weather on June 3rd and saw over 1,000 visitors to the airfield by road and air enjoy a fabulous afternoon in the sunshine, to raise much-needed funds for DSI.  The annual event is organised by Margaret Cullen and a wonderful team of people who have worked so hard to raise over €50,000 over the last 4 years. It is an incredible achievement and we are so grateful to Margaret and everyone in Ballyboy!

We had the great pleasure of welcoming Margaret and her family to our National Office this week to accept their cheque for €16,000 from this summer’s event. Margaret is pictured above (left hand photo) with her daughter Jane, her niece Holly who is a member of our Meath branch, alongside DSI Team members Ross and Sorcha. It was lovely to see you all again and we look forward to many more happy summer days at Ballyboy!
