Mayo

About Us

The Mayo branch of Down Syndrome Ireland has 174 members. Our centre is in Castlebar and is regularly used by our adult members for arts and crafts, drama and keep fit. Our younger members also meet there for our toddler group. Our branch offers subsided speech therapy, physiotherapy, personal development course, cycling and swimming lessons. Our members take part in summer and Christmas outings and parties. We have been actively fundraising though church gate collections, bag packing, fun run, cycle, pub quiz, Christmas stall, Easter camp and many more events. Our aim is to continue to support our members and their families through services and activities.
