Massive congratulations to our amazing graduates being presented with their Hairdressing Assistant Certification in front of their families at the ALFAPARF Milano Academy in Kilmainham, Dublin this recently.
Niamh Sheridan (26) from Newmills Co Donegal; Rachel Connell (23) from Castlepollard Co Westmeath; Mary Clare Shaughnessy (23) from Stradbally Co Laois; Heather Berger (25) from Balbriggan, Dublin; Ciara Donohoe (20) from Newtownmountkennedy in Co Wicklow, and Emer Sinnott (22) from Mountrath Co Laois who have graduated from our Beauty in All its Forms Programme. BIAIF is a joint initiative of Down Syndrome Ireland and professional haircare brand Alfaparf Milano.
The programme gives adults with Down syndrome the opportunity to train as hairdressing assistants with a view to securing long-term employment.
