CEO Gary Owens shares a few inspiring words for Lourdes to Knock cyclists

Down Syndrome Ireland CEO Gary Owens shares a few inspiring words for Alan Heaney and the amazing team – Jonathon Verry, Gary Bigley, Maurice Dore and Gerry Boots who were cycling 2,000Km from Lourdes To Knock ultra challenge last week.

The team undertook an intense five day endurance trail to help fund the development of a new regional resource centre in Swinford for people with Down syndrome and their families.

Vital services such as speech and language, occupational therapy and physiotherapy will be provided in the centre, which will also boast a Sensory room and Multipurpose training room along with a fully accessible playground.
