Charity of the Year 2019: Mondeléz International

MONDELEZ INTERNATIONAL has chosen Down Syndrome Ireland as their charity partner for two years 2019/20 and we are really looking forward to working with their vibrant team.

They have selected a charity committee to fundraise and have planned a calendar of events.  They will be actively raising funds and supporting our events and challenges.

They are raising funds to help us recruit Regional Resource Officers for Employment so that we can increase resources for our member support team.

Regional Resource Officers for Employment will link with Down Syndrome Ireland Ability Programme, helping to source and deliver the targeted work experience, reflective learning and pre-employment placements which form the final part of the Ability Programme.

They will support employers to ensure that work experience and placements translate into meaningful employment for adults with Down syndrome and help develop and expand the work experience elements of the DSI Ability programme. To ensure participants can be offered significant and varied work experience, to help them make an informed choice on their future employment.
