Conor – International Competition Finalist

Congratulations to Louth Meath branch member Conor O’Dowd – he has just recently been shortlisted in the UK based, Down’s Syndrome Association’s ‘My Perspective’ competition.

As one of twenty-five to be picked at this level of the completion, Conor’s entry is a portrait of his best friend titled ‘My Friend Jason The Model’ (seen below) – the stunning black and white is brimming with character, class and style.

Conor said: “Jason is my best friend. I met him when we were little. Jason would like to be a fashion model and I would like to be a photographer. For this picture, I asked Jason to be my model and he signed the permission form. We had great together fun taking the photo. I love taking photos.”

The final judging for the competition is taking place from the 6th to the 20th of July – there is also a ‘People Choice Award’, which asks the general public to choose/vote for their favourite image from the competition. Conor’s entry is up for this award also, votes can be cast on this survey monkey page for the Peoples Choice Award

Best of lucky to Conor on his gorgeous entry, we think it’s an absolute winner!
