Our thanks to the wonderful Rhona Cullinan and her fantastic daughter Molly who alongside our early years specialist Olive Buckeridge spoke with Anna Daly and Simon Delaney from Weekend AM about our DSI HB Fundays campaign.
Funds raised from this year’s campaign is going towards two of our early year’s development initiatives – See and Learn and Parent-Link. We want to put a See and Learn pack in every participating pre-school in the country that has a child with Down syndrome attending, as well as provide packs for each of our 25 local branches. Parent-Link is about parents supporting parents who share the same journey. Funds raised will also help us provide training to more volunteer parents so we can give parents of new babies with Down syndrome support, understanding, confidentiality and a listening ear.
