Kildare branch opens new horticultural project

Congratulations to our Kildare branch, they recently opened An Garraí Beag which is a new horticultural initiative for Kildare members to participate part in.  The development is in response to a lack of opportunities for adults with Down syndrome to progress with further training and education.

The aim of the project is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which adults can acquire new skills in horticulture.

Celebrations started early with a grand opening which thanked all of the supporters, volunteers and local businesses that contributed to supporting this amazing project.

We wish every success to An Garraí Beag, it is a beautiful space where our Kildare members can blossom and grow.

Thank you to Paul Cahill for providing us with fantastic snaps from the day.
