Before the summer break, TDs and Senators in Leinster House put party politics aside and enjoyed an ice-cream party instead! Senator John Dolan hosted the HB Hazelbrook Farm Ice Cream FUNDAYS Party yesterday (July 11th) where politicians were joined by children and young adults from DSI to enjoy some ice-cream and raise much-needed funds.

It was the second year that Senator Dolan has organised the party in Leinster House. We are extremely grateful to him and to his PA Doreen for their support.

This year’s campaign is a vital source of funding for the development of our nationwide support services, which are currently in huge demand and under-resourced. This year funds raised will go towards eductional supports for children and young adults with DS, aged 4-18 years of age, which will give them the very best start in life with an education that suits their individual needs and prepares them for independent living.

You can see a wide selection of photos from the party HERE.
