MoMuse raises an incredible €9000 for Down Syndrome Ireland

Irish jewellery brand MoMuse has raised an incredible €9000 for Down Syndrome Ireland.

The necklace, which was launched in February, features a 9kt oval-shaped pendant with three cut-out upward facing arrows, each representing the tri copies of chromosome 21.

Down Syndrome Ireland’s staff member Ross O’Neill and member Aine Hughes met with MoMuse in their stunning Powerscourt Centre store, to present them with a check and to thank them for their generous contribution.

Speaking about the support for Down Syndrome Ireland, Margaret O’Rourke, MoMuse Founder and Designer explained that it’s an organisation close to her heart.

“This is a cause that’s close to my heart – my brother-in-law, Noel had Down syndrome and sadly passed away in 2022. As with so many people who live with Down syndrome, Noel was a kind and caring gentleman. He brought great love and joy to many people’s lives.”

The stunning piece of jewellery sold out soon after the launch, but has since been restocked and is still available to buy in store or online. €125 from each piece sold will be donated to Down Syndrome Ireland.
