DSI members celebrate Barista Academy graduation

Down Syndrome Ireland members holding certificates to celebrate their graduation from The Conrad Dublin's Barista Academy

There was cause for celebration earlier this month for four members from Down Syndrome Ireland.

Conor, Rebecca, Gordon and Fintan graduated from the Barista Academy at the Conrad Hotel.

They spent five weeks mastering important skills such as customer service and food and beverage skills.

The Barista Academy is a result of Down Syndrome Ireland’s partnership with the Conrad Dublin Hotel, and we are extremely grateful for their dedication they have shown our members since 2022.

Speaking about the graduation, DSI Employment Officer, Emma Foran said: “I am so very grateful to have been part of this. Together, we’ve crafted an extraordinary environment for our students to learn and thrive, both personally and professionally. Thank you, and roll on our next academy!”
