Education and Disability Survey

This survey forms part of a research study designed to get a better understanding of the experience of children with disabilities in the Irish education system. It is aimed at parents and guardians of children with an intellectual, developmental or physical disability – or a child waiting for a diagnosis – residing in the Republic of Ireland.

For statistical purposes, the research will also seek information about age, place of residence and schooling for yourself and your children, if you choose to share it, as well as about diagnoses of disability as described in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (UNCRPD). This information will be gathered, stored and processed anonymously, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.

As this is anonymous, the only risk this survey poses to you is that you may feel some discomfort answering some of the questions.
